Pork Ribs Adobo

fresh from the pan

On a budget? Living alone?

I'm thinking about cooking my specialty, especially during this rainy weather hits your place.

It's a usually adobo recipe for everyone but I noticed that even we share different adobo recipes, it stands out as one of the best Filipino food we serve in our dining table.

So let me share my own Adobo recipe that you can cook without spending more than P100.

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo of Chicken or Pork (preferably fatty or bony part) -- this time I used pork ribs
1/4 Chicken or pork liver (optional)
Garlic cloves, finely chopped
pepper to taste
vinegar
soy sauce
cooking oil

How to Make It:
1. Prepare a medium-sized skillet
2. Put cleaned pork or chicken, liver, chopped garlic, vinegar and soy sauce. The amount of vinegar and soy sauce depends on your taste.
3. Let it boil until the sauce becomes thick.
4. In a cup, get at least 10-15 teasepoons of adobo sauce and set aside.
5. In a low fire, add oil to the mixture and let the chicken/pork fry itself and becomes golden brown.
6. Add adobo sauce until it boils.

Serve hot.

Tip: The more garlic and pepper you put will make your adobo tastier.

Price Watch: 1/2 kilo of pork ribs - P70
                       1 garlic clove - P4
soy sauce in budget pack   - P13
                       vinegar  - P13

                       Total: P100

(I spent less than a hundred bucks since I only bought pork ribs and a garlic clove. Other ingredients can be found in your kitchen) =)

Happy cooking!
